Another necklace

Have been making another seed bead necklace, this time in gold and amethyst colours, which has turned out really nice

It is the same pattern as before but has different colours :D

Saw this lovely pattern for a tiny house in counted cross stitch so had to make it for my friend who likes little houses...

Seed bead necklace

I have been making a seed bead necklace in black and AB which is now nearly finished.
I just need to add a bead for the fastening (it does not have any metal fastenings) and have begun another in gold/amethyst

When hanging around the neck it has a lovely star shape

I have been away for the weekend to Sitges, south of Barcelona with the patchwork ladies. We flew from Malaga to Barcelona airport and spent Saturday and Sunday at the patchwork exhibition which was fabulous.
Today, I have been doing a bit of cross stitch a bonsai tree

 It will hang in the dining room.
Just have to do another 2 :)
Then I went to esparto weaving where I finished the plait to make the shoe soles (will stitch them together next time and began a nine stand plait which took a lot of concentration...

Renovated mirror and beaded necklace

Mr G had his drill out yesterday to hang the renovated mirror.
Following a sanding down, it was given 2 coats of gold paint and is now brightening the stairway

 It lightens the stairwell and reflects the guest bedroom

Today, I also made a lovely seed bead necklace from a free pattern I found at Beads Magic, which I made in shades of pink to sell in the shop, whose owner asked me to make some unique pieces to sell.
I think it has turned out really nicely...

Patchwork hearts

I made two hearts in patchwork yesterday to give away in Sitges when we go for the patchwork exhibition. One for me and one for my friend. We have to wrap them up next week ready to swap/ give away (not sure which)

And I am also renovating an old mirror with some gold paint...
