I am adding this palm tree to the nativity scene that I made a few years ago.. What do you think of it?

Mending a broken necklace which has sentimental value for a friend. 

mending espadrilles

today I have been mending a pair of espadrilles belonging to my daughter.

The thread they were sewn to gather with had snapped, so I unpicked the old thread and replaced it with some new slightly thicker string. 

New foam filling for IKEA Ektorp sofa seat cushions

After stuffing.

I decided to refill my sagging Ektorp seat cushions. By unzipping the space on the inner cushions and packing the space in between the original feather topping and the sponge part with polyester foam from the inside of pillows I bought! 

A quick, very easy and cheap job. The hardest part was sweeping up the feathers.

Very pleased with the results. 

Dress finished

My dress is finished. Using one and a half hands. It's a tea dress style from a Burda magazine from last winter. Very cool and comfortable. Not sure I would have the same curved seam on the centre back if I make another one.

crafting stopped again

Ah well. Another setback to the crafting as I had to have further surgery on my left hand as the tendon had got stuck in the scar tissue 😑

Hope to get back to it as soon as possible 👍😁
