Cactus flowers

One of the cactii on the terrace has decided to flower.
I have no idea what kind it is but the flowers are appearing in a circle around the top and are a beautiful deep purple colour.
I will look to see if I can find out any more information, but here is a photo for now

The photo is taken at a 45 degree angle so that you can see the flowers :D
