Patchwork

Today, I unpicked the 2 cushions in my bedroom and changed the dark maroon colour for bright red to match the runner I made. I am pleased to say that they turned out well..

This is the previous colour

and this is the colour now

They now match the runner 

and go with the colour scheme in the room

I then began to play with some pieces for  the 'pickle dish' squares from the Kaffe Fasset book  I bought on our trip to Sitges (It does need to be ironed)
